Written by:  Shane Brennan, Speed Week, and R. Scott Gemmill

NCISLARewatch:  ATF has a video crew with them as they go after suspected gun runners.  When they go in they found everyone was dead.

NCISLARewatch:  Hetty gets on to Sam about finding someone to help out the team while Dom is missing.   Sam doesn’t want a ‘temp’ because Dom is missing not dead.  Out of everyone he is taking this the hardest.

NCISLARewatch: Sam Hetty is right you do need to have the last word when you get annoyed.

NCISLARewatch: Dead birds birds at the scene.  Don’t think this was about guns.

NCISLARewatch: Kensi must eat a lot of those breakfast burritos for Callen to know what she is eating

Merrily17:  I know right! But Kensi is a junk food addict

Merrily17: So the HWOBH should be classified as lethal weapons!

Merrily17: Thank you Steve... It’s Sam Ma’am.

NCISLARewatch:  Evil Martha Stewart! LOL!

NCISLARewatch:  Great...Dallas (From the “Breach” episode) is back.

Merrily17:  I once knew an albino named Dallas! Oh and Dallas is Sallad spelled backwards! LOL ; )) just a little anecdote!

NCISLARewatch:  “you are an asset when you are not being a pain in the asset.”

NCISLARewatch: “For the record I walked away from this conversation thirty seconds ago”

NCISLARewatch: I’m just thankful that we didn’t see him ‘butt naked’

Merrily17: “if she puts on her rubber glove run!”

NCISLARewatch:  I love Hetty/Callen scenes!
“Sam doesn’t play well with others and he doesn’t share his toys.”  Callen
“Sam sees the glass as half full. I see it as half empty. That's why we make a great team. Kensi, on the other hand, just drinks right out of the bottle. Nate wonders why it has to be glass. And Eric usually breaks the glass by putting his feet up on the table. “  Callen
That is them exactly!!!  PERFECT!!!!

“Big guy doesn’t like to be nudged.....I’ll be gentle”

NCISLARewatch: Nate REALLY doesn’t want them to do this.

NCISLARewatch: “Which half?” LOL!

NCISLARewatch: Sam asks too many questions and makes the Dutchman very suspicious of him.

Merrily17: The Dutchman has really big ears!!! I wonder if he can get satellite feed???

NCISLARewatch: And Kensi kicks ass...

NCISLARewatch:  Callen get the vial!!!

Merrily17:  OH SHIT!!!!

NCISLARewatch:  Crap! Callen is cut and the bottle is cracked!

NCISLARewatch:  Whoa where did Sam come from.

Merrily17: “You know I hate needles!”

NCISLARewatch:  LOL!!! Sam saves Callen...again.  ;)

BOTH: $72,000 for FISH?!?!

NCISLARewatch:  “I know the difference between coy, carp and crap.”  Hetty
I would have them tested too it I was being charged $72,000.00!  My question is did the Fish do a song and dance show for the shoppers because for something to be in MALL they should! *cheap girl getting off soapbox*  I love the look on horror Hetty’s face when Callen mentions that the tea used in nursing homes uses tea bags.

NCISLARewatch:  Hetty if he’s going to smother you with a pillow does is REALLY matter what type of pillow it is?

Merrily17: AHHH, Hetty’s biggest fear!  And she is allergic to feathers!!! Cause it  matters when you’re dead!!

Merrily17:  It’s so good of Sam to take care of Ester.

Merrily17:  Thank you Steve... It’s Sam Ma’am.

THE END!

Merrily17:  Inara does that whooo wee really well!!! It’s so funny!

NCISLARewatch:  When Hubby heard that the first time he looked at me and said “What the hell was that?!”  I told him it was the “Whooo-Wee” sign

Week 15: :Missing

Missing (Originally aired January 26, 2010)

A car driving down in Los Angeles goes down some back roads.  It is met up with a van and three men.  They fight with the driver of the car. Gunshots go off and the driver (whose face we don't see) is dragged to the van and taken away.

The next morning we find out how Karaoke went the night before.....

Callen.  Sweetie... You cannot do a duet holding your nose while singing Willie Nelson.  It doesn't count.

Sam... I agree with Callen, My Funny Valentine is not very popular for Karaoke. Yes, it is a Jazz Standard but not a good choice.

Nate... How drunk are you?!?!

Hetty... I would pay MONEY to see you sing "Wanted Dead or Alive."

Where is Dom?   Hetty assures everyone that he would have his own safety meeting that will take up his whole weekend.  Hetty starts the yearly "Safety meeting" and phones start going off.  Hetty gets annoyed until Callen sees that it's an Agent Needs Assistant text.

The text was not on long enough to get a trace and the GPS was turned off on his phone.  They find his car in an allyway where he would take a short cut to get home.  The car is the one where the man was taken from.  This is not good.  Bullet holes in the windshield, blood all over the seats and there is no trace of him anywhere. So the question is, where is Dom?

No Traffic cameras in the area and nothing was stolen.  Eric calls that there are cameras on every corner but the one he was at.  On board camera was operating, but there is a bullet hole in the hard drive. But everyone does agree that no one bleeds that much and survives. Kensi brings it to Ty who tells her that they probably wouldn't be able to get anything off of it but he would try.

No witnesses, computer untouched due to Dom being a stickler for security and Nate tells Hetty that Dom's demeanor was okay.  So why Dom? Hetty tells them that the other agencies have all called and offiered their help in finding him.

Kensi and Nate go to Dom's place to see if they can find anything.  She realizes that they never really did know him.  Kensi sees that he didn't come home and then notices that he has two monitors.  One for internet and one for games (yeah he's a geek!).  They see that he tapped into the security cameras in the parking lot.

Callen looks at the laptop and it's mostly gadget stuff nothing that indicates anything wrong.  Callen thinks that it's random, wrong place at the wrong time.  Sam thinks it's about something.  Eric shows them the cameras in the parking garage.  They then see that a camera was added by someone above the parking spot.  Two days ago someone put a camera up there. This is a pro doing this. Again WHY DOM?  He was a rookie.  He didn't have time to make any enemies.  But THEY do!

Eric comes down to let them know that Dom's phone came back on.  They get a gps lock on it and they go to the house.  The house is empty and there is a man upstairs in one of the rooms dead.  Looked like someone tried to save him with no ID.  IV bags from a hospital are left on the floor.  They get the blood tested in Dom's car to make sure it's not Dom's

Ty got audio from the car.  Kensi translates  There is a name mentioned, Rafiele, and then it goes dead.  Kensi is not taking this well at all.  Hetty goes and talks to her...

Eric finds out that Frederico Gomez, Jose and  Rafael Taro are guns for hire and proof of  life abductions in South America.  Jose and Rafael have a sister, Claudia, who is a nurse that works at the hospital where the IV bags are from.  They go find Claudia and bring her to the boatshed.  She tells him that she thought if she helped them she wouldn't have to see them again.  They told her that they had a package to deliver.

Sam and Callen decide to call the Taro Brothers and tell them they want Dom for Claudia.  She at first resists but she does help them.  She tells them that she needs their help and to do what they say.  They tell them to meet at an old hospital in the boiler room and bring her in an hour.

They look at the plans, their turf, their staging.  Hetty suggests a satellite with infrared abilities.  Callen brings Claudia in, while Sam is outside.  Sam goes in because there is another heat signature.  The problem is they have no idea where the people are with the view that they have.  The heat signature is stronger than the others because he is closer to the roof.  Callen keeps on asking for Dom and they keep on stalling.  He wants to see Claudia's face so they take off the hood and it's Kensi.  Sam does a diversion and there is a shootout.  Both Taro brothers are shot.

Rafael wants to make a deal that this would not be on Claudia's record and Callen promises him.  He tells him that Dom is in a van over by the river.  He has no idea why or who wanted him they never met the person who paid him to do this.  The three of them go over there open the van doors and it is empty. So again the question of this episode is WHERE IS DOM!?!

Week 14: Past Lives

Past Lives (Originally aired January 12, 2010)

A person from Callen's past gets shot and killed in the middle of the street.

We start off with the gang trying to think of what to do with "Team night"

Okay I want to hang out with Hetty!

Now before we move on, watch that segment again and WATCH SAM'S MUG!  When he walks over to the desk his mug is BLUE right? Well watch it when he says "Except for when it's Thursday night" it's RED!  OOPS!!!

Hetty tells Callen that one of his aliases, Jason Tedrow, got an email that morning.  Tedrow was one of his aliases when Sam was in Afganistan almost five years ago.  Joey Gale was one of the men arrested who stole money, along with Montrell Perez and Jon Donnally.

The email that he sent to "Jason Tedrow":

Jason-
Don't know if you're still checking this email address but I'm pretty sure you are out of Charleston.  I found the spare change that we came across back in the day.  An e-mail leads to a Citizens Bank account in LA.  Don't know whose it is but I'm thinking realy hard about paying him a visit.
Psycho Perez is still locked up and I'm not sure Donnelly ever had the stones for this caper to begin with.  Catch a plane out to LA?
Joey

Callen has now gone "Lone wolf" and this makes Hetty and Sam worried.

He goes to see Kristen, Jon Donnelly's sister, who he was seeing at the the time.

Okay did that kid just say Mom?

She basically gives him the "You expect me to wait for you when you disappear/I can take care of myself" speech, which is understandable. She tells him she has no idea where her brother is. Then her fiance, Tommy Boyd, walks in.  Kristen met him shortly after "Jason" had vanished.  She tells him that she heard that her brother was getting odd jobs over at the supply depot.  She tells him not to come back, that she has moved on.

Sam is there and gives him hell about getting Donnally's sister involved in the case.  Asks who the kid's father is.  Callen doesn't know.

Kensi  goes to the jail to meets Montrell Perez's JAG lawyer, named Neil Corby.  Parez is happy that the guy is dead and hopes that Donnally gets the same thing done to him (real nice guy).  When Kensi gets back to ops she finds flowers on her desk.  Eric tells her that they are from a JAG lawyer. Kensi hates flowers (I do too! Give me chocolate) but keeps them.

Callen and Sam go over to talk to John Donnally...

Why didn't he try to shoot Jason Tedrow?  I mean he was right there and could have been done with it.

Sam and Kensi look at the footage of the shooting.  Tedrow didn't join until towards the end.  Dom tells Callen that Kristen's boyfriend has a record when he was a minor and the courts had it sealed.  Callen thinks that maybe Boyd is a part of this.

Sam talks to Nate who is thinking of having "team night" be a Ping Pong tournament (Ping Pong?  Really? I would rather risk it with the mechanical bull and tequila!) Sam is worried about Callen. Nate tells Sam that if it involves NCIS he has to speak up, other than that he has to keep quiet.  He does tell Sam that out of everyone Callen trusts him the most.

Kensi talks to Corby.  He asked what branch of NCIS she was with.  She quickly changes the subject by telling him that Donnally was killed and that they think that Parez was a part of it.  He tells her that Parez would talk to her anytime, but they just have it go through his office.

Callen goes and talks to Boyd, who now knows that Callen is some sort of cop.  He tells him that she would leave him if she found out.  Callen wants him to make him believe that he was not the one who shot her brother.  He's hiding something.  He tells Callen that he would never walk out on Kristen or the boy.

Sam gives Callen hell (again) about him going to Boyd and questioning him.  Callen is very confused and feels guilty about how he left everything.  It also doesn't help that he may be the father of the kid.  Sam tells him that the best thing that Callen can do is to find out who killed her brother.

Kensi goes to talk to Parez (without Corby knowing) and tells him that Donnelly is dead.  He basically does a dance of joy.  Tells Kensi (off the record) that he has some of the money but doesn't know where it is.  He got a call the night before the trial telling him that he was going down unless he did his time and was good. She puts the bug on him before she leaves. Corby was there, Kensi lies and tells him that someone screwed up at the office.  He starts to leave, then collapses and dies.

He was poisoned by sodium cyanide, which can take hours to take affect.  They also found out that the lawyer who defended Tommy Boyd when he was a teenager was Neil Corby, who was a public defender at the time.

Callen and Sam go talk to Tommy.  He tells them that Corby called him for a favor, to get close to Kristen and see where the money was.  When she told him that she was pregnant he figured it was meant to be.  He cares a lot about her and the boy.

Kensi meets Corby at the train station.  Kensi tells him that the case had met a dead end.  Corby mentions Jason Tedrow and maybe he would know something.  He tells her that he had been trying to see Jason Tedrow in prison, but every time he would go there he was not able to see him.  Then he tells her about this....

Then Tommy comes up with a gun and tells him that he is not to hurt Kristen.  Boyd gets shot, Kensi kicks ass (as usual).

Callen goes and talks to Kristen.  Boyd was going to be fine and out of the hospital soon.  She tells him that Michael is not his son, but she wanted him to wonder to get back at him for hurting her.

Callen goes back to the office and the gang has been there waiting for him for "Team Night" Dom made reservations and Hetty picked... Karaoke!  As they are leaving, they wonder where is Dom has disappeared to?

Did you know?

The boy who played Michael is Chris O'Donnell's youngest son Charlie.  He also plays young Callen in Season 2 (Toy Soliers and Familia).

Week 13: Breach

Breach (originally aired on January 5, 2010)

A car crashes into a strip club and a Petty Officer from the Navy is killed.

We start off with Hetty asking about one of the credit card charges Callen's "alias'" charged....

$1,400 on RAW FISH!?!?! I really hope they got the bad guys ALIVE!

Petty Officer Mostel Renny was killed the night before when a car crashed into a strip club. Callen sees this as an accident scene, Hetty sees it as a crime scene.  Renny was part of the "Top secret Geek squad" of the Navy.  The woman who Renny pushed out of the way is a stripper named Katya.  She got a concussion when pushed out of the way and is in the hospital ready for questioning. The man in the car did not have a driver's license and the car had been stolen weeks ago.

Okay, what's up with Hetty?

Sam and Kensi go to the strip club.  After looking around, Sam realizes that Hetty is right and it is a crime scene (okay, again DUH! Hetty is ALWAYS right!)

Callen goes to talk to Katya who doesn't want to talk.  After assuring her that he is not with immigration she begins to open up. A man in the club grabbed her and the driver was with him.  Then Remmy intervened and the Club owner and bouncer stopped it.  Eric calls and tells Callen that there was a second set of prints on the car and they belong to Caesar Vargus.  He shows her the picture of Caesar and she said that was not the man from the night before.

Sam asked the owner of the club about the picture and tells him the same thing Katya said.  Sam knows that the owner is hiding something but doesn't know what. Callen, Sam and Kensi go to Caesar's house and find him in the refrigerator... dead (um...EW!)

Rose the M.E. tells Callen and Sam that the man was dead for about two weeks.  She also shows them the driver's body.  His back has marks that look like machete marks and had no drugs or alcohol in his system.
Eric identifies the driver from the refugee data base.  His name is Deng Oya he came to the US about two years ago to start a new life and is staying with a foster family.  He's one of 'The Lost Boys" of the Sudan.  Sam tells Callen he's going to go and check out a possible lead on the case.

Okay, really what's up with Hetty?

Sam goes over to a basketball court at a youth center and talks to a kid named Moe. Callen and Kensi go and talk to Katya at her house where she tells them that she's going to visit her sister (too bad she doesn't have one).  As Katya and Kensi argue, Callen sees a SUV speeding down the road and he gets them down before someone starts shooting at them.

Nate talks to Katya.  She's still very standoff-ish.  Callen shows her the picture of the driver and she doesn't remember him.  She has no idea why someone would want to do this but she is hiding something.  Sam takes Moe over to the beach to talk to him.  Moe knows the driver and tells him that the guy didn't have a driver's license.  He tells Sam that he had seen him talking to a guy named Safar (who was there the night before). Safar teaches religious studies at the Youth Center.  Sam doesn't like the fact that Moe goes there and that they have a bad rep for teaching radical views.  Moe assures him that he only goes there to play basketball.

Safar Jadalla is part of Islamic militant groups.  Dang did what he was ordered to do.  Sam tells Callen about Moe.  Nate tells Callen that Katya is slowly trusting them but wants some of her things at the house.  Callen goes over there and before he leaves he sees that her bedroom has two smoke detectors.  He finds a netbook in a closet and sees that the camera in the smoke detector is recording.  Callen shows her that he knows about the camera in her room.  Tells her that she needs to tell him the what is going on or she's going back to to Kiev..

Her boss has been blackmailing clients.  Anyone that had something to hide or what he wanted.  She knows Safar they called him 'The Buyer'.  So is Dallas selling the information to Safar?  Callen goes to the club. Katya comes back to work.  They go to a VIP room and Sam blocks the video feed.  Callen grabs the keycard and tries to get to the storage area.  The card doesn't work so Callen tries a different approach and goes to the kitchen to the storage area to the hard drive.  Dallas sees that something is wrong and catches Callen in the kitchen and pulls the fire alarm.  Sam and Kensi go in and the ass kicking begins.

Dallas is put in custody and says that he's not going to answer any questions without his lawyer.  Eric and Dom go through the tapes.  Hetty shuts the operation down... all evidence is to be sent to DOD and Dallas has to be released. There is nothing that Hetty can do.  They have to shut them down and gives them an hour.  Eric finds footage on Safar.  Sam goes over to the basketball court where Moe plays and gives them a flash drive.  Tells them that they are looking for Safar and need to talk to him.

Callen meets him on a Pier.  Wants $50,000 dollars or the footage goes out.  Safar threatens to kill him, Katya, Dallas, and then bystanders on the pier.  They get him into custody.  Safar mentions to Sam that he knows Moe and that Sam killed Moe's father.  Sam goes to see Moe who is about to leave in a van with other boys.  Sam tells him that he was protecting innocent people and Moe to go with him and he did it to protect Moe.  Moe still upset gets in the van and leaves.

Katya has a lawyer and help, Safar is in custody of the CIA and they will use his information.  Eric tells Sam that Moe is on his way to Paris and then to Chad.

Okay so THAT'S why Hetty is so moody!  I understand her pain of retyping. I had the write the blog TWICE because my first one was deleted.  It wasn't done but it's still frustrating.

On a personal note I want to apologize on the last couple of posts (include this one and the next one) being late.  With summer (over 100 degrees), family, work and other things I haven't had a chance (or been tired) to get it done. School started on Monday for my daughter and my son starts after Labor Day.  We'll then be on more of a schedule (and I won't have to chase down my son for potty training).  Thanks again for reading and being patient.

Next Weeks episode Past Lives (which should be up by Thursday if no problems happen)

Preview for "Breach"

Week 12: Brimstone

Brimstone (Originally aired December 15,  2009)

It's Christmas in NCIS LA Land this week.

Man goes to an ATM and while putting in his information he gets a phone call.  The phone blows up and kills him. Yikes!

We start off in the morning with Sam and Callen bringing in a tree....

(Thanks again to my partner in crime)
Sorry guys I agree with Hetty. THAT is not a Christmas tree (says the woman who has a small fake tree up on a desk during the holidays).

The man who was killed by his cell phone exploding is Asher Ross a former staff Sargent EOD in the Marines.  Six months ago he was part of a convoy hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq.  He got a  medical discharge because he lost hearing in his ear.  Kensi, Callen and Sam go to the ATM and check out what he was doing before he got the call.  Eric calls and tells them that the person who made the call was within a half a mile of him.  The phone is now turned off and probably thrown away.  Sam goes to look for the phone while Kensi and Callen go to Ross' house to see if they can find anything.

Ross' father says that he wasn't close enough to know what was going on (It's a very "Cats in the Cradle" relationship).  Asher wanted to be a Marine since he was a little kid.  He lent his savings to one of the guys in his Unit and he hadn't paid him back.

Sam talks to Eric about activating the phone.  He calls it and the phone rings (notice that Sam hides behind  a building just in case it does blow up)...in the dumpster...covered in garbage and maggots. YUCK!
The person who Ross lent the money to was  Hastings King whose garage is not too far away from where Sam is.  Sam goes to talk to King who is under a truck and tells him to go away.  Sam looks and sees why King wanted him to him go away.  There is a bomb in the truck.

The bomb has a secondary device and it's a two man job to dismal it  King comes from out under the truck and we see that he is missing a leg.  King denies killing Ross.  Says that Ross saved his live more than once while they were there and was the only person who took a chance on him.

Dom, Eric and Kensi find out that at Ross' cellphone had traces of HMX67 military grade explosive.  The person had to have access to his cellphone in order to wire it with an explosive.  Callen gives Nate hell (again) about wearing a tie.  Nate then goes over to see Sam who is looking at the bomb that was at Hastings King Garage....

(Thanks again to my partner in crime)

Eric tells Sam and Callen that he was able to pull information off Ross' laptop and saw that he had lunch with  Stanton Olin two days before he died. Nate goes to Hetty to get her approval on the psych evaluations for the team next month. Hetty tells him that if he is patient the team will go to him and all he will have to do is listen. Kensi and Callen go to Holden's house.  He walks up, runs, gets in his car and as he drives away it blows up.

When asked why Olin ran he tells Kensi and Callen that someone had been following him. They look at the video of the car explosion and Sam sees that on the back window of the car is Arabic lettering.  Translation is "Those who reject faith and deny our signs will be companions of hell fire," looks like someone is after them.

Nate talks to Olin who is at the boat shed. Olin says that it is his fault that Ross is dead because he didn't try hard enough to convince him that something was going on.  Ross blames himself for what happened in Iraq.  Callen tells him that it could help if he talks about it.  He tells them that everyone dealt with what happened there differently.  King started his business, he found God, and Ross moved on. Callen tells him that there was a warning on the back of the car.  Asks if he knew anyone who would of left it. There was a man in the unit Turik didn't know him very well. Tariq was badly burned by an IED and maybe he blames them.

His record is clean and Kensi goes to talk to the person who lives at the last known address.  Kimberly hadn't seen him since he left.  Wouldn't see her when  he came back.  Tariq stepped up and treated her daughter like she was his own.  Was very tolerant with religious views Tariq drops off money at a mailbox place.  Sam and Callen go over there to get information about the box....

(Thanks again to my partner in crime)

Tariq had been staying with Ross and working for King.  They need someone to go over to King's auto place to see if Tariq is there so they can question him.  Kensi goes to talk to King on a motorcycle talks about her father being a Marine.  Looking for Tariq while King is looking at the motorcycle she sees a gun and takes it.  King denies knowing Tariq.  She mentions that she was engaged to a marine killed in Falasha.  He calls Tariq and tells him that someone is there to see him.  When Tariq comes down he has no idea who she is.  Sam comes in tells him he's NCIS and Tariq throws a hammer at Sam's head. Callen on the other side and get him into custody.  King calls Kensi a lair and asks how she thinks her Dad would feel that she grew up to be a professional liar.

Olin was told by Nate that Tariq was taken into custody for the death of Ross. Olin tells them about when they were in Iraq.  There were two women and they offered them some candy.  Another woman with a baby arrives and Tariq sees her as a security risk . They start shooting guns and everyone is dead.   He gives Nate his bible says it would mean a lot to him if Nate took it.

Kensi is at her desk looking at a picture of her Dad.  Hetty comes over with tea.....

(Thanks again to my partner in crime)

Nate talks to Tariq wanting to know about Ross and king.  Ross saved his life.  Saved King and Olin.  says that the guy was a hero.  Nate asks him about the Iraq woman and her baby.  He has no idea what he is talking about.  He tells Nate that there wasn't a baby she was holding a bomb.  He didn't shoot her Olin did and saved everyone in the area.  When asked about religion Tariq told them that Olin could quote the Qur’an or the Talmud just as easy as the bible. He saved their lives.  Kensi calls them and tells them that Ross' cell phone had a high grade explosive but the one in Olin's car was not, so it wouldn't kill him.  They figure out that Olin was the one who did it, not Tariq.

Callen and Sam go to Olin's house.  They see that the house is rigged by pressure pads under the rug.  They see that there is a list of other members of the unit.  They call Eric and see if he's on any flights.  Nate realizes that Olin giving the Bible was giving away his possessions which is a warning sign of suicide. Olin wanted to punish himself and the unit for what they did in Iraq.

Nate calls Callen and tells them what is going on.  Kensi goes to King's garage tells him what is going on but he doesn't believe her. Olin comes in with a bomb strapped to his chest.  Tells everyone that they can leave that it's just between him and King for what they did.  Kensi shoots Olin in the elbow and King is able to cut the trigger wire.

Sam, Kensi and Callen go back to the office....

(Thanks again to my partner in crime)
